Plan Summary
Data can be on one or multiple servers. Cost is based on the cumulative data per Gigabyte per month protected across all servers combined by retention policy.
Billing Policy
Our billing policy is very simple - you are billed based on the per GB usage in the month. If, in one month, you use 8 GB, you are billed for 8 GB. If on the following month you use only 3 GB then you're only billed for 3 GB.
We appreciate simplicity as much as you do. :-)
Billing Period
Billing period is based on a monthly basis, on or about the date you entered into our subscription - with the last day of the month being the 28th. Statements are issued and credit cards processed at the end of your billing period each month for the data protected during the billing period.
Retention Policy
The LiveVault Service includes a minimum 30-Day History with the option of expanding your retention to 1-Year or 7-Year History.
The standard 30-Day Retention with Continuous Backup provides:
Every 15 minute snapshot of your data for the last 24 hours
Every 6 hour snapshot for the next 6 days back in time
One (midnight) snapshot each day for the remainder of the 30 days
1-Year Retention adds to the above a month end version for 12 months.
7-Year Retention adds to 1-Year Retention a quarterly version for 7 years.
Note: Most competitors charge extra for each copy they store for you. Over time this may double or even triple your cost. In addition, no competitor can provide the hundreds of backup versions that our LiveVault Service offers.
